Parvathy Omanakuttan is an Indian actress, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Femina Miss India World 2008 and represented India at Miss World 2008 where she was crowned Miss World 2008 Runner Up. She was also awarded the title of Miss World Asia and Oceania at the pageant.

Biography

Parvathy Omanakuttan was born in a Malayali family in Changanacherry, Kerala and raised in Mumbai. She studied at Sheth Chunilal Damodardas Barfiwala High School and later graduated in English literature from Mithibai College.

Acting Career

Parvathy made her cinematic debut in the Bollywood film United Six, directed by Vishal Aryan Singh. She eventually made her Tamil film debut in the 2012 gangster film Billa II, in which she played the role of Jasmine, who she said was "the emotional quotient in David Billa's life".In 2013, she was seen in her first Malayalam film KQ, in which she played a journalistshooting for the Hindi, "a woman of today, strong and independent with her own values".In August 2013, Parvathy began shooting for the Hindi film Pizza, a remake of the 2012 Tamil film of the same title, produced by Bejoy Nambiar and UTV.
