Kelly Brook born 23 November 1979 in Rochester, Kent, England as Kelly Ann Parsons is an English model, actress, occasional swimwear designer and television presenter.
She is the daughter of Sandra, a chef, and Ken, a scaffolder. Ken Parsons died of cancer on 26 November 2007, during Brooke's time on Strictly Come Dancing.
Kelly attended The Thomas Aveling in Warren Wood School in Rochester, Kent. She then studied for three years at the Italia Conti Stage School in London before becoming a professional model.
Modelling career
Brooke began her modelling career at the age of 16 by entering a beauty contest at the insistence of her mother. Following this success she appeared in a number of advertising campaigns, including for Foster's Lager, Renault Megane, Walkers Crisps, Piz Buin and Bravissimo, a company specialising in bras and lingerie for large-breasted women. Her voluptuous figure eventually caught the attention of the editorial team at the Daily Star newspaper, which began featuring her as a Page Three star.
Brooke's pictures soon began appearing in other major magazines, including GQ, Loaded and FHM. In April of that year she was named as having the best British female body in a poll of 5,000 women for Grazia magazine. She topped FHM's list of the 100 sexiest women in the world in 2005, which is said to have surveyed 15 million people. Subsequently, she was ranked 5th in 2006, 17th in 2007 and 34th in 2008 in FHM's 100 sexiest women in the world.
Brooke has also done a number of advertisements modelling swimwear, sportswear and hosiery. Her work for Triumph bras caused quite a stir as the high billboard specially made for Brooke's image was said to be the world's largest billboard.
In 2005, Brooke posed for photographer David Bailey in a ten-page nude black-and-white pictorial which appeared in the November 2005 issue of the British design magazine Arena.
In 2006 she signed a contract worth around £1 million to front Unilever's Lynx body spray, known as Axe in the US and continental Europe. She has appeared on billboards, in newspapers and on the Internet as part of an advertising campaign.
She has also appeared in adverts for Sky+ & T Mobile and more recently modelled for Reebok.

In 1997, at the age of eighteen, Brook began presenting shows aimed at young people on MTV, Granada Television and the Trouble TV channel.
Brooke's breakthrough into mainstream presenting came in January 1999 when she was selected to replace Denise Van Outen as the female host of The Big Breakfast alongside Johnny Vaughan. She left the show in July 1999. She was reportedly axed after repeatedly making broadcast mistakes and having difficulty reading and pronouncing polysyllabic words from the autocue machine. Following her departure she took up a presenting role for MTV.
In 2005, she hosted the ITV reality television programme Celebrity Love Island.
Brooke had a seven-year relationship with English actor Jason Statham until they split in 2004. The couple lived together in Los Angeles and Herne Hill, South London.
Brooke met American actor Billy Zane while filming the Greek thriller Survival Island in 2004. Brooke and Zane were due to marry in the summer of 2008 and bought a house in Kent, but Brooke postponed the wedding due to the death of her father. The couple broke up in April 2008 and soon came together to end their relationship in August 2008.
Brooke has been dating Wasps rugby player Danny Cipriani since September 2008.
