Shazahn Padamsee is an Indian actress and model who works primarily in Hindi films. The daughter of noted actors Alyque Padamsee and Sharon Prabhakar, she made her first film appearance in the 2009 Hindi film Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year. Following her debut film, she appeared in two non-Hindi Indian films, where she was well praised by critics for her performance, before playing leading roles in Madhur Bhandarkar's Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji and Sajid Khan's Housefull 2
Her father Alyque Padamsee was a veteran theatre actor, born into a traditional family from the Kutch region of Gujarat. In 2011, Shahzahn revealed that she is inspired by Buddhism and is more spiritual than religious, saying, "I believe in God. But more than that, I believe in all religions".
According to media reports, she was in a relationship with model-actor Akashdeep Saigal for three years. In 2011, tabloids linked her with cricketer Yuvraj Singh, but she denied dating him. The following year, her frequent public appearances with actor Akhil Kapoor led to media speculation of an imminent marriage, but she dismissed these as rumours.
In November 2024, Shazan got engaged to businessman Ashish Kanakia, whom she met through a common friend. Their wedding is scheduled to take place in June 2025.
