Holly Marie Willoughby born 10 February 1981 is an English television presenter, author and model. She has presented various television shows for ITV , including This Morning (2009–2023) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2011, 2018–present)
From 2008 to 2020, Willoughby was a team captain on the ITV2 comedy panel show Celebrity Juice. His other television work includes The Xtra Factor (2008–2009), Text Santa (2011–2013, 2015), The Voice UK (2012–2013), Surprise Surprise (2012–2015), Play the Whistle (2015–2017), I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (2018), Freeze the Fear with Wim Hof (2022), and The Games (2022).
Willoughby was born in Brighton, East Sussex, the younger of two daughters of Brian Willoughby, a sales manager for a double-glazing company, and Linda Willoughby a former air hostess. She was educated at the independent Burgess Hill Girls' School in the West Sussex town of Burgess Hill, and The College of Richard Collier in Horsham.
In 1995, at the age of 14, Willoughby was spotted by talent scouts at The Clothes Show live exhibition and signed with the model agency, Storm Management.She appeared in teen magazines for girls such as Mizz, Just Seventeen, Shout and More! From 1998, at the age of 17, Willoughby began modelling bras, underwear and tights for clients including Pretty Polly, appearing in advertisements and posters.
Cheryl began dating England and Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole in September 2004, announcing their engagement in June 2005 after he proposed in Dubai. The couple were married on 15 July 2006 in a ceremony in Barnet, north-west London. He signed an exclusive deal with OK! The rights to the photographs are reportedly worth £1 million. On February 23, 2010, Cheryl announced she was separating from Cole, and on May 26, she filed a lawsuit against Cole in London, citing her estranged husband's "inappropriate behavior". Filed for divorce in the High Court. Divorce papers state that Cole had affairs with several other women.
In December 2016, Cheryl appeared in the BBC One genealogy series Who Do You Think You Are? , during which he researched his maternal family. Research shows that her paternal ancestry is from Tyneside, and many of Cheryl's ancestors were coal miners. Going further back in one branch of his ancestral lineage, researchers found that his lineage included many sailors. Investigating Cheryl's maternal lineage reveals that her grandmother, Olga Ridley, was one of twin girls born to Edith Anne Burton, a housekeeper for a widower named Joseph Ridley, before their marriage. There were many children. Joseph Ridley fought in the First World War as a pioneer in France in the Durham Light Infantry and, from an examination of the census, before the war he owned a grocery warehouse.
On 11 January 2003, Cheryl was involved in an altercation with a nightclub toilet attendant, Sophie Amogbokpa, and was later charged with racially aggravated assault over the incident. At his trial on 20 October he was found guilty of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, but acquitted of racially aggravated assault, and sentenced to 120 hours of community service. Went . He was ordered to pay £500 in compensation to his victim, as well as £3,000 prosecution costs. Judge Richard Howard said, "This was an unpleasant episode of drunken violence which caused Sophie Amogbokpa pain and suffering."
