Tania is an Indian actress known for her work in Punjabi cinema. Tania was born on 6 May 1993 in Jamshedpur. She was nominated for two Brit Asia TV Awards for her performance in the film “Qismat” (2018), in which she won the award for “Best Supporting Actress”.
Early life
Tania was born on 6 May 1993 in Jamshedpur. Born in Jamshedpur, Tania was brought up in Amritsar. He has a younger sister named Tamanna. His father is a doctor and his mother's name is Anju Arora. She wanted to become an actress since childhood.
She graduated from BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar with a degree in interior designing and project management with 98 percent marks. After this, Tania studied theater for four years at Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar.
In an interview he told about his childhood dream:
“I wanted to become an actress since childhood, but I could not tell my parents. It took me years to actually tell them. Our profession is very uncertain, today you are earning well and the next day you have no work. Parents think you should be in a business where you have control over your money, or you should get a job where you get a fixed salary every month. According to me, once you start any work, there is no looking back unless there is an obstacle in your work. So as I grew up, I gathered courage, and I told my parents. ,
“So I did my plus two in medical science. Then I told him that I do not want to study medicine anymore, I had taken this subject in Plus Two for him. I even said that I don't want to study at all. Although I was a good student; I got 98 percent in graduation, then I also did post graduation. But my parents wanted me to become a doctor at that time. They made me sit for Pre Medical Test (PMT). I said ok I will appear for the exam but I don't want to become a doctor because I was more interested in the creative field. So when I joined college, I studied theater for four years and then did post graduation. So it took me 6 years to complete my studies and then finally I was allowed to enter films. ,
Career
Tania received an offer to play the role of Sarabjit's daughter in the Hindi film “Sarabjeet” (2016), but she rejected the offer as she was undergoing her exams at that time. She made her debut in 2018 with the Punjabi film “Qismat”, which proved to be the biggest hit of the year in Pollywood. After this he did many more films like “Son of Manjeet Singh”, “Gudiya Patole”, “Rab Da Radio 2”.
Tania debuted as a lead actress in 2020 with the film “Sufna”. After this she worked as a lead actress in many other films.
