Saumya Tandon is an Indian model, film and television actress. She is currently acting in the serial Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai as one of the main characters Gori Mem Bhabhi Ji. Prior to this, Saumya has also hosted many TV serials and comedy shows. But Saumya got special recognition and popularity in every household from this serial. Apart from TV Saumya played a supporting role in Imtiaz Ali's Jab We Met opposite Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor.
Saumya Tandon was born on 3 November 1984 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. She grew up in Ujjain, where she completed her graduation. In 2016, she married her boyfriend Saurabh Devendra Singh. He dated her for 10 years before marriage. He also has a daughter.
Saumya Tandon also did modeling in the early days of her career. During this she was Femina Cover Girl 2006. She is currently playing the character of Anita Bhabhi or Gori Mem in the popular comedy serial Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain. He co-hosted Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout with Shah Rukh Khan in 2011. She has hosted Dance India Dance for three seasons for which she has also received the Best Anchor Award. He co-hosted the Bournvita quiz contest with Derek O'Brien for three seasons. In Imtiaz Ali's Jab We Met starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, she played a supporting role to Kareena. He also worked in L G Malika-e-Kitchen for three sea sons.
