Tara Sutaria was born on 19 November 1995 in Mumbai. His father's name is Himanshu Sutaria and mother's name is Tina Sutaria. Apart from her in Tara's family, she also has a sister Pia Sutaria. His father Himanshu Sutaria is a renowned businessman.

Tara did her studies from her hometown i.e. Mumbai. Tara did her early education from the School of Classical Ballet in Mumbai. After this he completed his graduation from St. Andrew's College of Arts and Commerce.

Tara started her career from a very young age. At the age of just 7, she had become a professional singer.
